Buddha Day Celebrations
Saturday 17 May 11am – 3am
Buddha Day, also known as Wesak, is the most important festival day in the Buddhist calendar, celebrated by Buddhists around the world. It marks the historical event of Siddhartha Gautama’s awakening to become the Buddha, around 2600 years ago. This Enlightenment revealed the potential for all human beings to experience freedom from suffering.
Please join us to celebrate our good fortune to live in a time where there has been a living Buddha and the many aspects of that life.
