Free Your Mind: 30 Day Meditation Challenge

Free Your Mind: 30 Day Meditation Challenge

Learn or boost your practice of two Buddhist Meditations with experienced members of the Triratna Buddhist Order and Community.

Mindfulness is a mental state cultivated by focusing awareness on the present moment, while calmly acknowledging and accepting one's feelings, thoughts, and bodily sensations. It has been a main focus of Buddhist practice for 2,500 years and used as a technique for reducing stress and anxiety, and improving clarity of mind.

In the loving-kindness practice we're working with our emotions, cultivating more positive mental states and a kindly attitude towards others, helping us to live more harmoniously with those around us.

During the month we will meet weekly to learn, practice and discuss these practices while establishing a daily home routine. By meeting weekly, we can benefit from mutual support and encouragement and also feedback and guidance as our practice unfolds.

Additionally, attendees of the course are welcome to join us for our Easter residential retreat (bookings open now), which will also be meditation focussed and offers a great opportunity for taking meditation deeper, in very supportive conditions (please note there will be no Thursday evening meeting that week because of this).

Book Now: $80 / $60

If you cannot afford the full amount but would still like to attend, please contact us.
